Odd that "Kuwait" is accepted for "Kuwait City", however "Kansas" isn't accepted for "Kansas City"

yea its weird i usually dont type city at the end bit i had too for kansas city so i did it for kuwait city, it was weird

Yeah it's weird how on this website you always have to add 'City' to the American cities with that in their name, like Kansas City and Oklahoma City, but you don't have to do that for all the non-American cities like Mexico City, Kuwait City, Guatemala City and Panama City. I've always wondered if there's a particular reason for that.
