I also thought Cyprus but did not type it because C is not a vowel. Other than that, great quiz!

Is "y" really not considered as a vowel in English?

It depends on the pronunciation. In all of the words on this quiz, except maybe one, it should be considered a vowel.

I'd say "y" in Egypt and in Syria are vowels, but I'm not a native speaker (of English)...
