Countries by Half-and-Half Images

Each of these pictures are composites of two images that in some way represent a specific country. Using the partial images of flags, landmarks, historical figures, and animals, identify each country.
Not every composite image is split exactly half-and-half. Poetic license. :)
If you're not sure how a certain image connects with a certain country, check my sticky comment below.

You already had the best-fitting idea for this format before it even existed, haha!

Haha thanks! When the original quiz was broken, I went back and tried to fix it. I couldn't get the formatting right, so I gave up. The new system is amazingly easy! :)

Wish you could do this without so many country flags. The images is a great idea, but the flags then just become a partial-flag image quiz, and there are already plenty of those. See if you can replace those six flags with something else!

Couldn't agree more. There are approximately 50,000 flag quizzes on this website of every imaginable configuration, if that's what you want to be tested on.

I'm shocked New Zealand was guessed more than the straight up flags of Burundi or Kiribati. Like yeah they're not super well known countries, but just showing the direct flag is way easier than a representative photo, particularly of the bottom half of an animal lol.

I'm just wondering whether the Ecuador pic reveals enough to let you conclude that it's a Galapagos tortoise specifically and not some other random tortoise?

Ecuador is rather vague, many countries have tortoises, and the Galápagos Islands are known for many animals.

Exactly. The picture of 'Ecuador' was actually taken in Hawaii. That turtle doesn't even know Ecuador

🇧🇮 🇧🇿 Burundi & Belize is perfection 🔥

We need an excuse to adopt this flag for real.

I hereby proclaim the Burundi-Belizean Federation of agreeing that their flag mix is GOAT 👏🏼
