I mean, 'famous' is in the title and Pinochet is probably more famous than either Allende by a wide margin, at least in the English-speaking world. Make of that what you will.

Acknowledging fame or notoriety is not the same as condoning the person's actions. Murderous dictators are pretty much always notorious.
