Kudos for putting together one of the most masochistic quizzes on the site. I got 719 before giving up - 4 points. But this, just like the currency quiz, seriously needs many more type-ins for the Ukrainian currency. The first spelling that comes up when you google it isn't even accepted, and there are many more.

Lesseeeee....

628/777 only gave me 3/5 points. Grrrrr...

Mega-quizzes such as this should award more points. If some of those ridiculously simple math quizzes give 5, this should give at least 20.

So, I got 196/196 countries and 192/196 languages. Yes, a lot of this is because I have learned on Jetpunk and am fresh on a lot of it.

But capitals and currencies? Just LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!

Why are sign languages are excluded? You could just require the specific sign languages:

Papua New Guinea: (PNG|PAPUANEWGUINEA)(SL|SIGNLANGUAGE)

New Zealand: (NZ|NEWZE[AE]LAND)(SL|SIGNLANGUAGE)

South Korea: (S?K|ROK|SOUTHKOREA)(SL|SIGNLANGUAGE)

Mauritius has no official language but English and French are generally considered to be de facto national and common languages of Mauritius, as they are the languages of government administration, courts, and business. Meanwhile Mauritian Creole is spoken by the majority of the population as a native language. So I think you should be able to accept English and French for languages of Mauritius.

The same as Eritrea. It has no official language. Instead Eritrea has nine national languages, one of which is Tigrinya. Meanwhile Tigrinya, Arabic, and English serve as de facto working languages, with English used in university education and many technical fields. So I think you should also need to accept English for Eritrea.

702/777 = 90% Nice score, unfortunately only worth 4 points.

Well I got all countries and languages so that is something (I actually could not think of which c was missing for Cuba until the last 30 seconds!)

Apart from still missing a lot of currency my other absentees were capitals in the caribean, oceania and africa as usual.

Close call was kwanzi instead of kwanza. All spelling variations (like 20 attempts) that are close to Koruna but not quite it.. Fiorint (and some variations) for Forint. Ringit (or atleast ringil) for ringgit. Dinar for denar.

And somehow I totally did not think of pound haha

But I did get the Ukrainian currency :)

I would like to point something out.

Basically none of these countries are going anywhere close to “Federated States of Micronesia” in being the most niche on this list.

Why do it like that? That just made it all the more confusing for NO reason, there was no Kingdom’s, People’s Republics or even the specific Republics other than Congo…

so explain why you need to use the specific for “Federated States”!?

Very common to refer to it with its full name of Federated States of Micronesia. "Micronesia" is still an accepted type-in so what's the issue? It's using the standard accepted JetPunk names

Same reason "United States" is included in USA, "United Kingdom" is included for UK. Would you prefer they were also simply "America" and "Great Britain and Northern Island"?
