2) To properly complete the quiz you must never write down a country if you're not 100% sure it's the one that goes there!
A: Borderless countries have been greyed out, all other countries are answers B: Each column contains countries with the same colour as the cell on top (eg column A contains countries that are red on the map) C: Arrows between cells 'join' bordering countries that are adjacent horizontally, vertically or diagonally D: Following arrows you can go from any answer to another, excluding the two with orange border E: ↓↓↓ is used for vertical 'chains' so they can be spotted easily
Note that even without seeing the colour of European micronations the quiz is solvable risking no more than one whammy
Overseas and lake borders are considered
Extra type-ins to avoid whammies: GNB for Guinea-Bissau, NGA for Nigeria
I have Turkmenistan bordering Azerbaijan, somewhere in the Caspian Sea; similarly Kazakhstan borders Turkmenistan. When I do consider these I try and remember to put a caveat about lake borders being considered.
I think in all of your logic puzzles and similar quizzes Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan and Canada-Denmark are considered, but Singapore-Malaysia and Bahrain-Qatar are not. I've gotten used to it this way:D
It took me a while to figure out where to start, but once I found a "loose end" I managed to untangle the whole puzzle. And as always I managed to mix up Suriname and Guyana in the process, I don't know if I'll ever be able to memorize which one is which.
Got thrown off by one issue, you have Tajikistan bordering Azerbaijan which I believe is an error.
