World Map 30 X 32 Puzzle by Cities With at least 1 Million People

Type a city whose urban agglomeration holds at least 1 million people: its piece and the ones around it (within a 'radius' of 2) appear. Pieces that aren't reached by any city are shown at the start. Pieces that are only reached by cities that aren't in the Top 250 and that are 2 pieces away are shown at the start, too.

A big thanks to Quizzer6794 for teaching me how to avoid horizontal gaps between pieces, eg see his US State Picture Puzzle Game #3... does anyone know how to remove vertical lines too?!

Is there a ginormous gap just east of Florida? That's confusing.

I just took this quiz, and rather than filling in the map, it just flashed green where the pieces I had guessed were and then stayed blank white. I still enjoyed the quiz, but I assume that's not how you intended for it to work.
