Introduction
Okay, so I finished another episode of Mafia.. now I'm going to check my notifications.
Oh, it's a comment from cathlete saying that I was almost at 100 blogs!
*checks my total blog count*
99? I didn't realize that I had that much. I guess I'll make an 100th blog special!
(Sorry to all alive Mafia participants for the delay!)
JetPunk Story
I was a kid randomly looking up the country similarity index. The first website that showed up was objectivelists.com. There was something wrong with that website however, so I tried the next website that showed up.
It was called "jetpunk.com" (sounds familiar, right?)
I clicked on the link, and it sent me to this quiz series. I was unaware at the time that it was a quiz website, so I clicked on a quiz and I wondered why the answers weren't showing up.
Then I realized that it was a quiz. I had fun taking these quizzes and knowing more about that topic. Then I found more quizzes on JetPunk and enjoyed taking them.
I wanted to make quizzes on my own, so I created my account under the name "CAP12345".
My first quizzes were about the country similarity index. I was unaware that it was bad to make quizzes that were already made, so I made ones for four countries.
Then I got bored of making them, so I tried making a quiz about the top five most developed countries per continent, because those quizzes seemed popular. It became my most popular quiz.
I made a few more geography quizzes until I made this series.
It became my most popular series yet, but I started making the opposite of that, the enemies of countries series.
Those quizzes became my most popular in no time. This quiz was my first to reach 100 takes, as well as my most popular by the end of 2023.
I made some non-notable forgetful quizzes, until I made "60 Random Countries Missing on a Map". In two days, it became my most popular quiz. It hit 1,000 takes over the next week, making it my most successful quiz yet.
I started to make more missing countries quizzes (and even translated them into French!)
It was my most successful series yet, (and still is to this day!)
Then I discovered the RUB.
I noticed that there was an active community there, and I didn't really know that many people on JetPunk. I started commenting on some blogs, until I decided to start making my own.
The first series was called Country Showdown.
I had like thirteen or so people sign up, but the series turned out to be a disaster. I couldn't think of challenges, and I tried to make it entertaining, but failed.
I deleted the series, and changed my account name in hope that people would not be able to find my account and ask me questions.
People kept finding my account, so I kept changing my name (Spoiler: It didn't work)
If you go to this blog, you can see the questions that people were asking after this happened.
I took an 8-month break from blogging, and started commenting on quizzes, blogs, and the message board. I was able to interact more with the community until I decided to remake Country Showdown.
I made it to where you could pick all your teammates instead of choosing a pre-selected team. I also made it to where whole teams wouldn't get eliminated at once. Each team of countries led by a user had to compete in challenges and vote countries out. Last team with countries standing wins!
It seemed to be more popular and better executed than the first editon.
I decided to do another game called JetPunk Traitors.
Players were either chosen to be an innocent or a traitor. The innocents had to vote out the traitors, while the traitors had to make it to the end and win.
A total of eighteen people signed up, which I wasn't expecting due to only six people signing up for Country Showdown. It was more successful than Country Showdown (and it was nice not having to write a ton of country lore)
And then.. my most recent and popular series came out.
Which one?
Yep you guessed it!
Total.. Drama.. JetPunk!
Users were getting very involved in this one! People were getting into the alliances, betrayal, and drama concept of this! It was definitely the most fun hosting out of the three, and it seemed to be the fan favorite as well.
Then I made JetPunk Mafia (thanks to MeMeMe for the suggestion!), which I am currently hosting right now.
Will the good or evil team win? We'll have to find out!
Capy Games Awards Ceremony
I never told you guys that I would be handing out awards for my games.. but surprise, I am!
You can get awards from Country Showdown, JetPunk Traitors, and Total Drama JetPunk. Mafia is currently unfinished, but I may do awards after it's finished.
Sorry if you participated and don't get an award. I tried to give them out as fair as possible.
NOTE: A user can only win one award per competition
First up is Country Showdown!
Most Dominant: KiloNova
Five of the final six were on Kilo's team, so he easily wins this award.
Honorable Mentions: Nickelz, Gademotsili99, McKenzieFam
Best Strategy: Nickelz
Nickelz was one of the few willing to make alliances, and he also possessed many advantages that were used in a good way.
Honorable Mentions: Gademotsili99, McKenzieFam
Biggest Underdog: hi111223
hi111223 was a team of just New Zealand for half then game and was able to scrape through about six episodes despite almost being eliminated multiple times.
Honorable Mentions: McKenzieFam, Gademotsili99
Most Involved: Tie between Gademotsili99 and McKenzieFam
Gade either participated in every challenge or used an advantage for the first half or so. McKenzieFam was one of the few users who participated in the end game, so both of them win this award.
Honorable Mentions: KiloNova, Nickelz
Anyways, that's all the Country Showdown awards!
JetPunk Traitors:
Best Strategy: Minecraftyoshi2
Despite being inactive for the last quarter of the game, My2 had great strategy which was able to mess up traitors and get them to change their plans
Honorable Mentions: Amphi64, LuckyCat, Tayger, Trompete79
Biggest Underdog: SonyVondern
Sony was definitely the underdog. Two of the traitors left the round after the game started, and the person he recruited and his last fellow traitor both got eliminated, leaving him as the lone traitor. He recruited two other people, but they were out before the final three. He got lucky with an inactive user being there and was able to make it to the final two
Honorable Mentions: KiloNova, AManwith3Ears, Gekko0923, Trompete79
Best Innocent: Amphi64
Was able to be strategic but silent enough to where the traitors wouldn't target him, and ended up winning the game
Honorable Mentions: Minecraftyoshi2, Tayger, Gekko0923,
Best Traitor: Tie between LuckyCat and Trompete79
Sony would've won this, but he already got an award, so it's a tie between Lucky and Trompete. They were also the only traitors besides Sony who both were active and lasted long
Honorable Mentions: SonyVondern, KiloNova
Moving on to TDJ, which has the most awards.
Total Drama JetPunk:
Best Social Game: cathlete
He was able to get everyone on his good side. He managed to not get anyone target him, despite being a major threat. He possessed three idols at one point (and had four idols in total), and became the leader of the Bass post-merge.
Honorable Mentions: MeMeMe333, LuckyCat, thegoatisgoaty, Insaniot
Best Hero: MeMeMe333
He was able to get into alliances with multiple people by round three and played an honest and straightforward game to the point where he never considered betraying his allies!
Honorable Mentions: cathlete, LuckyCat, Pontiac, Insaniot
Best Villain: BautyArg
Bauty ruled the Bass with an iron fist pre-merge. He was the reason for most pre-merge Bass eliminations and even sent someone to the other team and was able to flip the votes on a player he was against!
Honorable Mentions: Nickelz, InfiniteBulk, KiloNova
Biggest Underdog: KiloNova
He betrayed his former team (which he was swapped from), to help everyone on his new team make the merge, despite the Bass promising to keep him safe. By the merge, he was outed as a double agent and had barely any allies. He was able to make it to the final five, despite being targeted by everyone.
Honorable Mentions: MeMeMe333, InfiniteBulk, BautyArg, Nickelz
Most Game-Changing Move: InfiniteBulk
The Bass were confident that they would stay loyal, so they split their votes between two Gophers. However, this vote split allowed one Bass (InfiniteBulk) to vote for Bauty, who eliminated Bulk's pre-merge allies. This flip disbanded old team alliances completely, and changed the game.
Honorable Mentions: ItzIngenious, BautyArg, KiloNova
Best Redemption Arc: Nickelz
Nickelz was inactive in the second challenge and voted out that round. He wanted revenge against the Gophers. He was able to win the rejoin competition and make a comeback. He acted as a double agent and was able to slide under the radar to the final three.
Honorable Mentions: KiloNova, InfiniteBulk, ItzIngenious, MeMeMe333
Best Advantage Play: Pontiac
Pontiac nullified 9/11 of the votes that were against him. His idol was the main reason why the wheel eliminated Itz, who was a power player in the majority, which shook up the game completely.
Honorable Mentions: cathlete, BautyArg, LuckyCat, ItzIngenious
Best Strategist: ItzIngenious
After the Bass lost, Itz sacrificed himself confident that he could win the rejoin. He did in fact rejoin, and became the strategic leader of the Bass. He would've been out if he didn't use the vote steal on Pontiac the round he played the idol. (He got out that round anyway thanks to the wheel.) However, cathlete wanted to swap spots with him, and it was allowed since Itz was eliminated unfairly. Itz was able to make alliances and good social bonds. He was able to make it to the final two, despite being elimininated twice.
Honorable Mentions: Insaniot, cathlete, Nickelz, thegoatisgoaty, MeMeMe333, BautyArg
Best Leader: Tie between thegoatisgoaty and Insaniot
thegoatisgoaty seemed to be the leader of the Gophers. Nobody wanted him out, and everyone wanted to work with him. He was also good in challenges. However, he was swapped to the Bass due to being seen as a strong player. Insaniot seemed to become their new leader. He was part of a powerful trio with himself, MeMeMe, and Pontiac. He was targeted by the Bass at the merge due to being seen as the biggest Gopher threat, and was the first out after merge due to this.
Honorable Mentions: cathlete, BautyArg, MeMeMe333, Pontiac, ItzIngenious
Saddest Elimination: LuckyCat
Everyone liked LuckyCat. He was considered a target by the Bass due to being likable and a threat, but he instead lost the sudden death challenge, eliminating him. The remaining players were upset to see him go, even the Bass.
Honorable Mentions: ItzIngenious, JetPunker180, Aragorn, Insaniot, Pontiac, Xtrordinary
Most Screwed Over: Tie Between JetPunker180 and Xtrordinary
Both were good in challenges and pretty key members of their team. JetPunker was eliminated due to advantage plays to where only a single vote (Sony's) counted, and it was for JetPunker. Therefore, he was eliminated. Xtrordinary was set to make the final four, until the sudden death challenge. A Gopher got safety and had to give it to someone else. The last person chosen was eliminated. All the Gophers got safety due to Nickelz being randomly selected to be safe. The final four alliance consisting of Bauty, cathlete, Bulk, and Xtro were the last four chosen. Xtrordinary was the last chosen out of these four.. something that cathlete and Bauty would regret..
Honorable Mentions: ItzIngenious, KiloNova
Best Pre-Merger: Aragorn
Tayger would've likely got this one, but he deleted his account and left JetPunk, so I chose to give it to Aragorn
Aragorn wasn't as active as the rest of her team but was well-liked by everyone. She chose to sacrifice herself so her team could survive. The team was thankful for it and wanted her to get back in. Itz tried to get the two of them back in, but that backfired when the manipulation failed. She was also in possession of two advantages at once (three in total), which is pretty impressive because there weren't a lot of chances to get them pre-merge.
Honorable Mentions: Tayger, DrewFan, Amphi64, JetPunker180, SonyVondern. HubertThePhoenix
Anyways, that's all the awards! Sorry if you didn't get one, I tried to give these out fairly!
QNA
I believe that I am the fourth user to reach 100 blogs, after baptistegorce, Astana, and toowise. That's a big milestone for me, and took over a year to reach it! (Almost two years if you count the Beta Country Showdown)
So, I'm going to do a QNA! You are free to ask mostly anything, but there's a few things you can't ask.
Nothing about my personal information
No spoilers about who gets voted out of Mafia
If I don't want to answer a question, I'll let you know. You are free to ask as much questions as you'd like!
How about a guinea pig or something? I like guinea pigs...
Will you host Total Drama Action?
What ads are currently on your screen?
2. Yes, but I'm not sure when.
3. Hulu
How come I didn't get the 'saddest elimination award'?
What's your favourite types of quizzes?
2. Because Mafia awards weren't handed out, and you were never eliminated in TDJ
3. I typically like quizzes that are simple but have a good concept and are entertaining to play
I love the idea of adding awards! Lots of great awards and fun to reminisce over TDJ!
What are you planning next?
2. Not sure yet, I may let you guys vote on the next contest
Five digit number: Probably 99999
