Shining Light on Hidden Gems #1 - KiloNova

In this new series I'm trying, I will be displaying users who you may or may not know so well, but that I think deserves more credit. This could be that the user has well made quizzes which don't have many plays, or that the user is a great person and should be recognized by more people. Whatever the case may be, I will be talking about it here. This is not an interview, as that would be a direct ripoff of baptistegorce's "Interview of a JetPunker" series, which is not my intention at all. I simply want to spotlight users who I think should be more popular. Enjoy!

I have selected JetPunk user KiloNova as my first entry for a few big reasons.

1). Kilo was my first friend on JetPunk, making him my easiest choice.

2). He is very underrated, having many good quizzes and blogs.

3). Even though he is active in the community, his presence is often unnoticed.

So, using these major reasons, I will explain my reasons as to why Kilo is a hidden gem.

Coming from a good JetPunk friend, I can say that Kilo has many quizzes that are worthy of more attention, and possibly a Feature. He currently has only 25,000 takes which is criminal. A simple Sudden Death Feature would get him to 65,000 easily, and would jumpstart something much better. He has 40 subscribers which rivals many other quizmakers, including myself, and has nearly 300 quizzes, most of which haven't even passed 50 takes. I think he deserves more attention, so here are my recommendations of his best quizzes. Of course, he has other fantastic quizzes, so go take those too!

His most played quiz as of posting this blog is How Good Are Your Eyes? which has just over 3,000 takes. In my opinion this is a decent amount considering it was spotlighted. However, this quiz was unlike any other on the site when Kilo made it, and is very well designed, using nice colors and good formatting. Even though the quiz is exploitable in the sense that you can highlight the text, it is still fun to take, assuming most people don't want to cheat on the first attempt. Overall, the quiz is unique and enjoyable for everyone, and in my opinion, deserves a Feature. It sits at 42 nominations, so it seems that many people agree with this statement.

His Generation Z Slang Quiz is popular due to another spotlight, but also because it appeals to younger users on the site. It is a fun quiz to take, and the hints are accurate, coming from a Gen Zer myself. This quiz has 1,600 takes, being one of his most taken quizzes. Considering that another certain brainrot quiz on the site has 100x the takes this quiz does, I would say Kilo's quiz here is very underrated, even after the spotlight.

Spell The Country: Whammies is, in my opinion, one of his most underrated quizzes. Using the yellow box combined with the new Whammies feature was at the time something unique that hadn't been done before. There are very few Featured quizzes about Whammies, and I think this quiz is worthy of one as well. It gives you countries (by flag) with difficult names to spell, and if you make five mistakes, you lose. It is very fun, and not easy even for the best geography nerds.

His Sudden Death quizzes should not be overlooked either. I think they are all very good, with many also receiving spotlights. Go check them out, I'm sure they will not dissappoint!

Of course, Kilo has many many other good quizzes which you should go check out HERE. The quizzes above are just what I think are some of his best, and that might receive recognition from Quizmaster. I can't tell you which quizzes are his best, as that is up to Kilo himself. I can simply recommend the ones I like.

Kilo also has some exceptional blogs, although they are not as underrated. However, I do think he does not receive proper recognition for his outstanding works. Take a look at his best blogs below.

What am I talking about, ever single one of his blogs are the best. Go read them, and if you've already read them, go read them again. I can't recommend just a few, they're all so good.

As said previously, Kilo is also an active member of the community. BUUUUUUT..... after making this blog, the Message Board has suffered a head injury and is no longer what it used to be. Either way, he contributed daily to the Message Board, and the active members knew who he was. Yet again, he deserves more recognition than just being part of the JetPunk community. Go take his quizzes and subscribe so you don't miss anything else he has up his sleeves.

Well, that wraps up this blog. Overall, I'm just suggesting you support this user. He makes really good content that tends to go unnoticed. Not always, but sometimes.
