Note: Paris had a population of ~25,000 in 59 B.C.E., but I can't represent years before 1 C.E. on the chart.

Note 1.: estimates for 1937-January 1940 are only based off of births and deaths; does not account for immigration / emigration.

Note 2.: Estimate for June 14th, 1940 is based off of the fact that, by the time Nazi Germany reached Paris, 2/3 of Parisians had left (which was around 900,000 inhabitants per my calculation that Paris had ~2.8 million people prior to the invasion).

Note 3.: Population estimate for 2025 is based off of a separate table whose population estimates do NOT align with the other Insee tables I used.

Note 4.: For calculating the population in 700 I found the mean of the lower and higher estimate (20,000 and 30,000 people, respectively)

One final note: 1348 figure was calculated by assuming Paris' population growth from 1328-1348 per Wikipedia figures.
