What is Minnesota doing up there??? I get that the popular states like Texas, Cali, NY, and Ohio are up there, but Minnesota is a shocking discovery, especially seeing it down in the mid-pack range of population.

My question is why is Colorado so low? Hawaii beats it and Hawaii isn't a very populated state unlike Colorado!

Hawaii is basically the United States' Pacific Stronghold. It makes sense, especially accounting for Word War II.
