I don’t actually speak like this, I just wanted to see what would happen if I wrote a blog.
My experience
Well, upon receiving the news that the shop would soon cease operations, I asked a relative to get me some merchandise for Christmas. Thanks uncle! I got a Jeppy embroidered t-shirt, in, heather navy, I think? I’ll elaborate on that later.
Prices- I must say, the prices were indeed, a bit high. While I understand that the shop doesn’t get much business, SGD42 for a shirt isn’t cheap!
Shipping- on top of the product price, the shipping is also a hefty price to pay (this deterred me from getting a sticker pack!). The parcel also took a while to deliver, but after opening the parcel I could understand the large fee and long waiting time— it was shipped by a Latvian company!
The product!
As I mentioned earlier, I’d ordered a Jeppy embroidered t-shirt, (youth XL, I’m a small guy!). I had also considered getting the adult S size to grow into, but my mum had me settle on the youth XL. No harm in saving some money! Although after trying it on, I do regret getting that size, as the fit was just right! I hope it expands as I wear it. I like the design, the Jeppy embroidery turned out to be larger than I thought! Apart from that, the colour, the light fabric, the overall feel, just perfect! I checked the tag, apparently JetPunk had collaborated with a small brand to produce this shirt. The receipt was also from a Latvian courier, so I guess these partnerships are good for brands which struggle to gain traction. Sure explains the price tag though, haha!
Conclusion
I’d like to thank JetPunk and its partners for bringing to us their shop of wonders. It was nice while it lasted! I’d certainly recommend any JetPunk to grab their merch while they can! (No gun is being pointed to my head right now.) Goodbye JetPunk shop, we’ll miss you!
