9/10 today, fell at the last hurdle, decided to go for the one I hadn't heard of, must've got Mahler mixed up with Marlowe 😅 Shame as well cos I might have been on for a new personal record there
I missed that last one, too. I knew all the previous ones (somewhat confidently). It took me way too long to shake Turkish loose from the recesses of my brain considering I made a quiz called “Belgium… or Yogurt” a month ago and DEFINITELY looked up the etymology of both. 😂
No, I think Aenin wrote that exactly how they meant to. Like McKenzie, they didn't know the answer to either question, but got lucky on one of them and therefore got 9/10.
It wasn't earlier this year. It was 2019. And nothing much came of it. But while I think the alien claims of Area 51 are fake, there's a part of me that thinks the US government *is* hiding something there.
Funny enough, someone questioning me calling the trident a weapon on a quiz got me to read the Wikipedia page for trident. There, I saw that Triton was a sea god related to Poseidon, so I figured it probably was Neptune’s moon. Otherwise I bet I would’ve guessed Saturn, too!
I was one of the 3% that went for Uranus, for some reason I thought Triton sounded like a Shakespeare character (which a lot of Uranus's moons are named after).
If I recall correctly, a bunch of Redditors tried to storm it earlier this year for some reason
