It seems a bit surprising that 50-60% of people know that Brisbane is in Queensland, the Mersey flows past Liverpool, and Pondicherry has French roots. But it's still early, and they are geography questions. And there is some deduction as well.
With the Liverpool question, Football fans will also know it, since Liverpool-Everton is famously the Merseyside Derby (famously within the football world that is)
These questions are all unoriginal and appear in many quizzes on this site.
I would just dispute the formaldehyde question. An undertaker is a gravedigger who just puts the body in the ground--nothing to do with the embalming process.
As a non-native I didn't know the term ''undertaker'', but if it was framed in another way that I understood the term, I would have gotten the question right
Whoop, Liverpool mentioned, Scousers represent ✊ Got the 10/10, at 9,912. Could've been a bit faster finding Tokyo/Kyoto, and Pondicherry I wasn't certain on, but the rest were fairly good ones for me today
Deduced pondicherry as the others aren't right on the coast.

In the UK an undertaker prepares the dead for burial or cremation and organises funerals.
