As someone who reads at about half the speed of the average adult I often run out of time with quizzes. It would be helpful if some allowance could be made for this. I suggest that the time allocation is altered for those of us who suffer in this way to give an extra 50% more time to complete the quiz.
I see no advantage to making systemic changes for the benefit of (what I presume is) a tiny minority of users at the inconvenience of the large majority.
The big issue for me in doing this would be in things like speed quizzes, where the entire point is to complete them in a specific time. As bantqq1 said, arbitrarily increasing the time limit would encourage cheating on these quizzes.
There is the option to play quizzes untimed. When you click Start Quiz, there's a clock icon to the left of the answer box. However, you won't score points this way.
I can't see it being worth QM's time to build a whole Dyslexia section. I don't know what your coding skills are like, but maybe this is a niche in the online quizzing market that you could tap into?
I think a better way to help people with dyslexia would be the introduction of an "easy to read" font, which is the solution many school textbooks and websites adopt.
For JetPunk, this is something that is probably quite simple to do - a variation of dark mode, I would imagine - and surely suits all parties.
