For those unclear on the difference: "Constellation" only officially applies to the 88 constellations designated by the International Astronomical Union. An "asterism" is any other group of stars. So, for instance, Orion is a constellation, but Orion's Belt is an asterism. The Little Dipper is an asterism that is part of the constellation of Ursa Minor ("The Little Bear.") However, since the Little Dipper contains all of Ursa Minor's brightest stars and is thus by far the most visible part of it, the two are often treated as synonymous by the general public. It's sort of like how "Manhattan" and "New York City" are often treated as though they mean the same thing, even though the former is only one part of the latter.
I kept doing little Stewart, and I couldn't for the life of me remember how to spell Stewart. If I had flipped it around I probably would've gotten it.
