Full marks for The Robbster.

I thought it was easy too. I thought it could be made harder by some of the alternative choices being closer to the 2010s to really test us (rather than decades out), but judging by the average score, it's not really necessary.

Nice quiz! I hope this isn't too much of a minor complaint, but "Dancing in the Dark" is an Imagine Dragons song that was recorded in the 2010s, so it technically fits the description.

I know old pop music reasonably well, because it was pretty much impossible not to listen to the radio and TV and such when I was a kid. But as it gradually became easier to have your own preferred music available at all times, first through mp3 players, then via smartphones, my knowledge of "the hits" started dropping precipitously after about 2000. So despite knowing almost nothing about current popular music by 2010 (I'm not sure I've heard any of the 2010s songs on this quiz other than "Gangnam Style"), I was able to ace the quiz simply by eliminating the 2 older songs on each line, lol.

That was easier than I thought it would be because the options contained a lot of 70s and 80s stuff .

The only one I guessed was Humble as I knew Toxic was a Britney Spears song but couldn't remember what decade.

I Thought "Bad Guy" was too recent to have been released in the 2010's, so I went with Smooth Criminal thinking Alien Ant Farm's version might have been around 2010. Obviously, I was wrong on both accounts and lost the quiz on the first line with a wrong answer only 1% of quiz takers have guessed. Pretty much sums up my knowledge of 2010's pop music. :(
