Sad that. I've just come back from 7 weeks in Argentina which is a great country for tourists. So too, Zambia, New Zealand, Fiji and doubtless many others that I have yet to visit.

Saudi Arabia has to include religious pilgrimages to Mecca, I'm assuming? Malaysia's pretty surprising too. I never hear people talk about it as a travel destination. Lots of countries nearby, but never Malaysia.

There's been a huge influx of tourist in Malaysia in recent years, I guess partly because of English efficiency (compare to many Asia countries), multiculturalism and being a muslim majority country. I live in Kuala Lumpur and there's so many tourist in the city these days, mainland Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Europeans, Americans, Indians, Arabs, Australians etc.
