What is the source for the Number of Catholics question? I've looked around and I can find anything that even hints that is correct. The Archdiocese of San Antonio is comprised of 800k members in 19 counties. The Archdiocese of New York which includes Manhattan, Staten Island and the Bronx along with the northern counties of Westchester, Pulham and about 10 others has 2.8 million members and the Diocese of Brooklyn which just serves Queens and Brooklyn has 1.5 million members.
