This may be quite nitpicky or unnecessary, however I think that Uganda should be accepted for the question "countries with 'and' in its name".

I understand what the question was asking - and I wasn't confused - however Uganda was the first answer I put in and it technically contains "and" in the name.

This would also apply to Rwanda as well. And Poland, Netherlands, Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands, and any others I missed with "and" in the name.

Also since you said "the word 'and'" in the question, could you possibly reword the question?

"Name a valid country containing the conjunction "and"' or

"Name a valid country that has the word 'and' between two words" or whatever you see fit.

No you're not wasting my time and it's a valid question. However, the question specifies the word "and" while in the countries you just listed, they are simply a set of letters part of a word.

It means that a country is the only one the ends with a certain letter (ex Bangladesh is unique because no other country ends with the letter H).

I was so confused for a second when I came to the comments but then I realized that the quiz changed every time. And why does the "Name a country within 100 km of Africa but not in Africa" not include Israel when they border Egypt?

Yamoussoukro became the only capital in 1983, Abidjan is still an economic and administrative hub but it isn't the capital and JetPunk only lists Yamoussoukro.

The United States isn't at least 5,000 km wide east to west? Nome and Portland (ME) are 6,000 km apart. Yes, that's not due east-west, but there's land in Alaska further west than Nome and land in Maine east of Portland. It has to be that the tip of the Aleutians is more that 5,000 km west of the easternmost point in Maine.

To pile onto this, Washington IS named for Washington, the president, and while the District of Columbia (D.C.) bit is named after Columbus, that shouldn't disqualify it, as-written. So Washington, D.C. should still qualify it for an answer, no? https://www.history.com/news/how-did-washington-d-c-get-its-name

If it's more of an "only named after a U.S. president and no one else at all" sort of thing, that should probably be clarified in the clue.

It borders a country (Gambia) that only borders it (Gambia only borders Senegal); the question doesn’t specify that the first country also only has one border. Similarly - North Korea (South Korea), USA (Canada), Indonesia (East Timor and PNG), Italy (San Marino and the Vatican), South Africa (Lesotho), Saudi Arabia (Qatar), Spain (Portugal), Germany (Denmark), Malaysia (Brunei).

On that note, Spain is accepted as an answer for within 100km of Africa but not in Africa, however, ceuta is on the continent of Africa and controlled by Spain. Similarly, another commenter mentioned an Italian island which is less than 100km from Tunisia but is not an acceptable answer for the quiz. Additionally, a point on Tiran island, Saudi Arabia is fewer than 100km from a point in Egypt that is not in the Sinai peninsula.

Mali needs to be added for "has at least 10 official languages". Also, I've never seen a JetPunk quiz that counts Palau or Ivory Coast as having two capitals. I'm pretty sure they shouldn't be answers for "with at least 2 capitals accepted by JetPunk".

Mali has been added as a valid answer. JetPunk accepts both Ngerulmud and Melekeok for Palau. Removed Ivory Coast, however, since it doesn't accept Abidjan.

Just for info, there's a question that states the EU parliament meets in France, Luxemburg, and Belgium. It's not true, it only meets in Strasbourg, France, in Belgium and luxemburg it's the EU concil, and the EU court of justice

I GUESSED A FEW CITIES, AND THEY WERE WRONG.

Shouldn't US be counted as 5000km west to east? Even if you would exclude islands, there's no reason to exclude Alaska.
