Oh no! Just like an emotional character in a cheesy daytime soap opera, Mexico has fallen to pieces! Can you click and drag its states back into the right spots?
Warning: If you use all 10 minutes, you'll get a zero. You MUST hit the submit button to get any points. Or, take it untimed. :)
amazing. awesome. 92 minutes of applauses (quote for italians only)
Outstanding job! Very creative.
I would be curious about how much effort does it take to create such a quiz. If most of the effort is put into making it work the first time, you could consider making a series of it
These jigsaws do take quite a bit of work. Because of the different shapes and sizes of subregions, I do have to put the “checker box” and the “boundary box” on each one manually.
I went to put Hidalgo in place and it completely disappeared behind everything else, label and all. I couldn't find it without tearing everything apart.
- All quizzes (except for Jtheppy's Geography which doesn't really fit anyway) didn't even exist five months ago
- Now, 6 out of 9 quizzes are featured (5 of them via nominations) and two of the remaining ones are likely going to be featured via nominations in the next 2 months or so
This is insane.
And also, my best time is 2:46, I challenge everybody to beat my score.
I made the series once I had finished the first draggable quiz. Apparently you need two quizzes to make a series (makes sense), so I just tossed Jtheppy in there because he needed more love.
Yay fun to do! I got it under 5 minutes but had no idea, only think I could have guessed (if there were just names and not shapes, would be baja california). I thought we were going to be scored on how fast we were as well. (probably not even possible, but hey new features show up all the time)
This is probably mostly true. However, I did not know the map other than some of the more well known states. The majority of them I was fiddling around with what fit where, more or less like a real jigsaw puzzle. That said, I was still able to finish with around 3-4 minutes to go.
This was beautiful and educational. I once could name all the states but I could never identify most of them on a map showing their borders but not their names. This exercise makes me hope that I will do better to meet that challenge next time.
And here's a suggestion for another puzzle: all the counties in California. Just enough to be a challenge (not like Texas or Georgia) and enough distinctive ones that anyone ought to be able to guess even if they never lived here.
Thanks! I figured Mexican states was too hard for a typical quiz, but perfect for a jigsaw. I do hope to do a bunch more of these, but I might take a year or two…
Really cool! Although I did get a lot wrong despite placing them right on top of where it says they should be. I’m assuming it’s just an issue with mobile.
I really had no idea what the shapes of the states looked like, but I could figure out the US border fairly easily. I put those in place and figured it out from there. That was fun.
Also, with this one, I ran out of noms
AND YAY I WON!
Outstanding job! Very creative.

And yes it was educational
Another great quiz, and you don't even need good Mexican states knowledge to do well!
Thanks!

Maybe I’ll do a sequel where you get points based on time.
Thank you for making this!
Makes it super inclusive, just need puzzle skills
