Guess Location by Clues - #1

I randomly picked a location on this planet (Google Maps Spot) and you need to guess the country (or region/city if asked) where you are by reading the clues I found out about this spot. The clues get better and more exact
It has to be on the land (no Great Barrier Reef etc.)
