Hi,

I'm a non native speaker. I created these quizes as a way to learn basic spanish and hope that other people find them useful/fun also. Corrections/feedback are most welcome.

From what I can find on google...

Potatoes - Patatas/Papas can be used interchangeably.

Corn - Yes, corn is considered a grain, particularly when referring to the kernels themselves, like in cornmeal or popcorn. However, when referring to the entire corn plant, including the cob and outer husk, it's also considered a vegetable.

Seafood - Pescado refers to fish as food, while Marisco refers to shellfish. These terms are often grouped together, especially on menus or in cookbooks, to refer to fish and seafood dishes collectively. I will revise the quiz to include both.

:)
