All Countries by Easternmost Point on Land, revealing Map
List all countries in the right order; you are given longitude as a hint. The 5 countries that go across the 180th meridian have a thicker border. The world map will get revealed as you guess answers.
Note: easternmost point is the one in the direction of travel. This makes the first 3 countries on the list have points which are over the 180th meridian as they belong mostly to the western emisphere.
The black vertical line indicates the 180th meridian: note that 3 countries appear 'east' in the map but, being completely/mostly 'after' the 180th meridian, they will be the last ones in the list!!
Dependent territories included
Data from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_easternmost_point (as of 30.07.14) plus a couple added manually as they were missing in the list
not sure you have all the dependent territories in the south pacific right. New Caledonia (France) would put France a lot closer to the top of the list. Same with Guam (US), etc
As much as NC is technically part of France, it really has a very particular status, like to talk about France outside of Europe, you say "Communities, departments of outer-sea,and New caledonia", it has it's own parliament and all plus it's very controversial and even seen as some kind of modern colonialism by some
I think this is because the easternmost points of France and the US were considered to be their mainland part (or in France's case, Reunion), and NC and Guam were instead the westernmost points. Similar reason to why Kiribati is at the end of the quiz despite having land west of 180°
